Stephanie Lollino, Executive Producer of FacingDisability.com and creator of our private Facebook Group, “You Are Not Alone – Dealing With Spinal Cord Injury,” was thrilled to be invited for an informal lunch with six other women and Facebook COO, Sheryl Sandberg, at the New York office of Facebook yesterday afternoon.

Stephanie Drassdo Lollino from You Are Not Alone – Dealing with Spinal Cord Injury started a space for people who live with the challenges of spinal cord injury. “Most people in the group don’t know anyone else in a wheelchair so it’s very isolating,’ Stephanie told me. ‘But here we have a community where people feel less scared and less hopeless after finding people who can relate to them.”
