The main difference is the two-bounce rule, which allows the ball to bounce twice, with the second bounce permitted outside the court. This adaptation adds a strategic element to the game, often requiring players to position themselves farther behind the baseline to maneuver their chairs and set up shots.
Professional competitors use customized lightweight wheelchairs made with carbon-fiber frames and angled wheels that provide greater stability and maneuverability. These specialized chairs enable quick directional changes and fast-paced rallies, contributing to the sport’s dynamic and exciting style of play.
