Oh, emotional support is perhaps the biggest thing, if you will, that peers can offer. Who else can understand what you might be going through? How can anyone possibly understand the dilemma, and the worry and the fear that you have to feeling? I know I can’t do it as an able bodied person, I can empathize with you but I’ve never been there. The peers have been there, the peers know what it is like, they’ve been through the same emotional ups and downs that you are probably going through now and they figured it out.
