I never make predictions on any one’s recovery, there’s no two spinal cord injuries that have been alike. In working 20 years in rehabilitation, I’ve been surprised many times. So, I’ll never make an assumption that this person is going to have a certain lifestyle. But, what I can tell them is that in between, or to get to the walking, there’s still life to be lived, and they have to really take a look at themselves, and their interests, and their passions, and whatever it is that they’re going to be doing.
