People can regain substantial improvements in walking ability with the Lokomat. It's important to note that the Lokomat is just one robotic device, and actually takes the place of therapists, who move the legs. So therapist can do this with patients as well, move the legs in a walking type pattern, and that type of recovery is substantial, or can be substantial. It really depends on how much residual connectivity there is from the brain to the spinal cord. What we're doing in therapy with the robotic device or with the physical therapist, is really just trying to enhance that connectivity.
