Well, football, boxing, and basketball interest me. For basketball, when I first moved here when I was trying to get into the Shepherd Center for therapy, a guy here saw me and talking to me like “man, you’ll be nice to play basketball, you have long arms.” And I was like, me being in the chair, I was already stubborn. My hope, my main purpose was, as I finished my Master’s program, I wanted to come here for therapy to try to walk. So, my mind wasn’t focused on nothing, nothing but trying to walk and so I wasn’t interested but I had to be on a waiting list and it was taking so long. I was up in Atlanta by myself so I was like, “okay, I need a hobby.” So, that’s when I called him back and said “okay, I am interested. And I practiced basketball for about a month, and then that’s what Shepherd Center had told me that I was accepted into their program, the therapy and I was like—so that’s when I kind of got away from basketball.
