Transcript
The first days were just the understanding the finality to a certain degree of what was taking place. I tend to be a fairly pragmatic person, so in some respects, it was, “oh, okay, well, this is not good, but this is what it is.” And again, with no level of understanding of what the future might hold, what it meant. Certainly, now knowing, after so many years being down the path, what things are or not like, versus what I would consider prior to my injury. You know, my understanding of what being a paraplegic was like back then is certainly very different than what it is now.
