You can always look one door down to the right, or one door down to the left and there’s someone that is going to be worse than you. And, you got to accept that and use that as a motivation, that’s what I did. You know, my neighbor had to drive his chair with a sip-and-puff straw. And I was able to get out of my bed on my own and roll to the cafeteria, when he had to have a Hoyer Lift move him. His attitude was better than mine was at first. So, I won’t quit, every day is going to get easier. And no matter how much pain you’re in, that’s one thing that you can’t look back and relive how painful something is, you can never hurt but you can’t relive the pain. So, every day gets easier as far as when you heal, and then you got to keep looking forward. You can’t look behind and put yourself in the dark, you got to live for tomorrow and keep rolling.
