Well first of all, you can get your aggressions out, God knows you're frustrated, everybody has it, right? And sports just does that for you, whether or not you have a disability. But I also think that the sports aspect, adaptive sports, really allows you to push your body to a limit that you've never thought of. Particularly if you were athletic before, or even if you weren't, here you are in a new state of mind and body, and thinking, "how am I going to be fit and be active?" And the athletes that I know have gone beyond that, it's broadened their social skills, brought them into areas where they've gained self confidence. I think, and that's what sports does.
