It’s very important that people remember that relationships, after injury, are also based on the relationships that were there before injury. So, problems in relationships before don’t necessarily disappear, because there’s been injury, and, in fact, they can be magnified at times. And, the wonderful parts about relationships before injury, there’s no reason those need to be changed either. So, it’s important to think about your relationship in the context of your relationship, whether that’s a romantic relationship, a partnership, a friendship, or with another family member. That the context of the relationship is what it was before, and we can’t really be expected to have any miracles.
