Quality of life for people with spinal cord injury spans a full range that people without spinal cord injuries can anticipate. Some of the components of quality of life include: optimism for the future, being involved in an important social relationships, having important social role, feeling valued and appreciated by other people. It involves the absence of excessive anxiety, or depression, or fatigue, or physical pain. And, feeling confident that one can cope with the consequences of spinal injury, and other consequences of spinal cord injury.
