They're going through two processes, simultaneously. They're going through the process of watching their loved one suffer. And, that might be physical suffering, that might be emotional suffering, that might be spiritual suffering, and probably some of all of those things at the same time. So, to watch somebody you love go through something like that, and to hear some of the comments they might make, which can sound awfully hopeless at times. And, then to balance that with their own experience, which is their own grieving process, and their own feelings of disbelief, and their own lack of knowledge, and their own ignorance to the process. It's a lot.
