Power-assist wheels are computerized hubs usually that are put into at the center of a wheel manufactured that way. So there’s a motor in that hub that is computerized, and the sensors that are placed in the hand rims read what the patient or the user wants to do. Go forward, turn, move backward and that motor then assists with those motions.
