It is extremely important for a person with an injury, a spinal cord injury, to know what it is that we can do, and what it is that we can’t do. We have to be honest, we have to be realistic. Hope begins again at Shepherd Center, but we have to be finite in our goals. As we achieve them, we can get another one, we can go higher, and higher, and higher but we have to be realistic with what our rehabilitation goals are.
