T. George Hornby is a physical therapist who helps patients recover the ability to move after a spinal cord injury. Some of his research involves the use of equipment and assistive devices.

 

Dr. Hornby’s video interview includes basic information about finding a physical therapy rehabilitation program after a spinal cord injury, identifying, dealing with and decreasing spasticity after a spinal cord injury, using a machine called a Lokomat to assist with gait training, and how to measure the results of robotic assistive device therapy.
